Trash is a perspective, a metaphor, a projection...Trashification is a golden middle way; Trashification is a way of care.

This critical study publication, with some artists and cultural references, shows my inspiration and thoughts in my practice. I chose to print out my writing on tracing paper, a translucent form, which corresponds to the contents: How does trash as a metaphor interact with other subjects like psychology, sociology, and ecology? How the action of trashifying can work in the process of my practice?

The way of layering is depicting a feeling, a feeling of being in-between. And the trash is revealed on the surface of the images, becoming new patterns, with a new definition. In this writing, the link between image materiality and the metaphoric value of trash in my practice shows how the transformations among mediums establish a new context, which I name this process as de-trashification.
